Happy Baby Rash
While we are on the subject of bathing, this gift is from Great-Grandma Barb. I feel so grateful for all of the people that have blessed us with gifts. I am realizing that I am more of a gifts person than I thought because they mean so much to me. I remember who gave us what (even from our wedding, I remember who gave us gifts and what they gave!). I often hear myself saying, "I love this little ducky bath towel, it is from Great-Grandma Barb." Or, "I love my glider from Gram and Grandma Barb." It is not the size or the cost of the gift, but the thought behind it. They took the time to go to the store and pick out something that they thought was special to them and knew that I would like it. They not only spent their money, but something that they can never get back.... time.
So Thank You if you gave us a gift because I love it! Even the gift cards..... I can tell you what we purchased with it. :)
I am so loved!

Little Trooper
So we had another Doc's appointment yesterday. He's growing so fast! He is now 9lbs 1 oz and 21 and a half inches. He's getting too big. After some insurance "fixers" we got to see our doctor for the last time and Judah left with a parting gift of a Hep B shot. He does not like shots! (who does right) A little screaming, some mother's comfort, and a car ride later he was fine. Next month he gets to get FOUR parting gifts. I don't know if his mom will be able to handle that.

Keeping Dad Busy
My Grandmothers are so wonderful at taking care of me and Judah. They got us a glider!! So not only is my dad doing random house repairs that James has not had time for, but he put it together for us. Jude has been in it all day.
Here is my Mom, aka Nana, holding Judah as he sleeps so soundly.
Now if only he would do this at night :)

Thanks Haiden
Every Year my family draws names between my siblings for Christmas presents. This year Haiden, my youngest brother, got me. I wanted a cover for my macbook, but was not very specific because he got me a pink soft case. Loved the color, but if you can't be honest with your family.... who can you be honest with??? So I returned it and got what I really wanted... So thanks Haiden and Merry Christmas to me!
Are you honest when you have to return gifts??? I am curious, what do you say?

Being a housewife day 1
So today was our first day at home without James. Just Jude and Me. I never realized how much work just feeding and changing a newborn is. He is so sweet, and a little spoiled. We have had family here and now my little man just wants to be held all of the time. I really don't mind except when I have to go to the bathroom. So here is Judah ready for the day.... and since James has to wear a suit and tie to work I figured he should wear his tie...all business.

James and Lys plus one
So we had some fun with Alyssa's photo booth. (Evalie loves this thing). It took us like 15 tries to get one good picture but we had fun trying. It's pretty weird starting the new year with a new addition to the family. Usually we're on vacation during the holidays...this year our vacation was a trip to the hospital. I guess we have to grow up. Here is the picture that we were finally able to get right.

Goodbye Culin Family
Judah really feels loved. I am not sure what we are going to do. He is really used to being held all of the time. All of our family has left, just waiting for my family to arrive next.
Cheryl, Grandma ( we are not sure what her name is going to be because the Korean word for grandma is 'halmoni' and lets face it that is hard for me to say let alone Jude to try to say), and Eddie with baby Jude.
Shout out to my Grandma's.

I'm like Lionel Richie baby...all nite long.
The joys of parenthood. My son must be jet lagged because he sleeps all day and is up all night. Now I'm still pretty blessed because he's not crying all night. He's just awake. He lays there and looks around and just observes but he doesn't cry. So logic says...so go to sleep and let him stay awake. Well...I think he's social too because he doesn't just like to stay in his crib and lay there. He wants to be around us and lay there. So he makes little noises of uncomfort until he's around us. So I was up with the runt at 12am to 2am and again from 4am until 6am just hanging out, then he woke up at 7 to eat and got up again at 9 and stayed up until 1pm. Now he's asleep and wont' wake up. I'm going to try something new tonight...I'll just go downstairs with him and play video games. While he looks around...might as well be productive.
