Swimmin fun!

We went to our community pool last weekend with the Stathams :). Here is my naked boys in the parking lot getting ready to swim.

Well we did something that I am almost regretting. This is the after photo. We decided that we had been to the pool a few times and Jude was really liking it, so lets just try a quick dunk.
He hated it. He came right up crying, with the lip and everything.
I feel like a horrible parent, but I know that it did not hurt him and he will not remember it at all.
So we are just going to wait a while to try it again.

He dosen't hate me :)

but while we were gone we hit another milestone. Judah got his first taste of semi-solid foods. He loved it! This is his first taste of peas.

And this is our set-up at home. Put him on a place that is easily cleaned.

It might not be as messy if he didn't have to touch every bite :). Notice the finger painting with carrots on his tray.

This is the way he is carried up to the bath tub. Somehow he manages to get it everywhere! Even in the chub rolls on his legs.

Back at home! Here we are with our family just laughing and chatting!

My brother is married!!!!
It is so weird, and I think it is weird because I was such a big part of both of my sisters weddings. It turned out very well and we had a great time introducing Jude to his whole family.

This is Judah's wedding outfit. He had a white button up shirt and his cute new hat. He got lots of attention for that hat :).
He did look cute if I do say so myself.

And right now James is at home all by himself, Jude and I are coming home tomorrow. We miss you Daddy. I will miss my sweet Cali. See you again in December. Now it is your turn my family to come and see us.

Jude slept 8 hours in a row last night.
If only I could convince James to go to bed before 11 :) we might get to take advantage of this sleep.
You see since we have a new baby we have had to readjust our together time.
We call it date on the couch.
After Jude goes to bed it is our quality time together, usually talking and watching movies.
Here's to another good night.

Quality time with Daddy

James and Jude got some quality time today while I went to the Doctors. I have a sinus infection :(.
3 hours, 2 nose sprays and 1 antibiotic later I got home to a happy baby and a wonderful Daddy!

He did it!!!

Jude has been sleeping so well!!!!
James had to re-situate him a little last night, but then he quickly put himself back to sleep.
He got up next at 3. Let me re-cap: he slept from 8:30 to 3 then again until 8. I am so excited!
I feel so rested, even though I had to get up early to go to work :(.
