We really need to have a baby!!!

My Mom flew out today!!!!
I am so excited, but I hope that we have a baby soon!

Bare Belly Update

Hopefully this is my last belly update.
I am now 38 weeks,
huge and ready to have a baby.
I never thought my skin could stretch so much.
Today I did a ton of walking
and did some jumping jacks
and bearing down to move the baby lower
and break my water.
We shall see.....

Trying to get the baby out!!!

I am not yet to the point of desperation, BUT I really want to have this baby before I am miserable and since I am already dilated and on my way.... why not do my part to help speed up the process.


Last night we went to Scalinis, a local Italian restaurant that claims their eggplant Parmesan will induce labor. I signed my name in the book and ate up. Nothing was happening so tonight we went to the spicy food.


We ate at a local Korean restaurant and I got the Kimchee Tofu soup and asked that they make it as spicy as they could. My nose was running and my mouth and lips were on fire......


and alas no contractions yet,
so we are going to bed
and praying for some action tomorrow :).

I went to the Doctor yesterday and I am 3-cm dilated and 80% effaced. In baby world that means that the baby is coming soon. My doctor said she gives me 5-10 days left. I am SOOOO excited. No ready for labor yet ( I will start thinking about that tomorrow- don't you love my Scarlett O'Hara approach to life right now?), but I am so ready to hold and see our new gift!

James got me a video camera on Black Friday, so we will be posting in the hospital.

Because I am pregnant and emotional I have to thank everyone that reads this and has been praying for us!
Thank you so much for that support. I know that the Lord hears you. I could not have asked for a better support system!
I hope you are enjoying this blog and keeping up with our lives.
Please pray with me that the baby is healthy and that the Lord would be glorified in our having and (attempting to) raise this child. :)

These are the amazing girls that I work with. They had a shower for me on Monday night. I am so blessed by each one of them. I have never worked in an environment like this one before. I really feel loved, needed and included! Thanks for loving my family- you all are very special to me!

Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving at our house this year was a little different. It was just us and our beloved friends the Tonggs. They came in from California to spend the holiday with us since I was unable to fly home. So here is what we did....

I baked a turkey all by myself :), yea me. It was pretty good too if I do say so myself. And what holiday is complete without all of us spending quality time together on our individual MacBooks :).

I put James to work organizing the baby diapers and filling the deviled eggs. We had a fun and overall relaxing day. It is getting harder for me to stand for long periods of time, so I was ready to sit and eat at 3 when we had dinner. Love the tryptophan! We rounded the day out with naps on the couch. I am so thankful for my family and the friends that are our family!

Belly Update

I feel like my cheeks look huge in this picture, but James assures me that I don't really look that chubby :).
What a great Husband I have.
I am 37 weeks now.
I know that I can't tell this baby when to come,
but is it wrong that I want to tell this baby when to come.
My sister is coming, then the Culin's are coming, then the rest of the Musich's are coming.
He needs to be here for everyone to see.
I am just praying for a happy and healthy baby
and the way he is tearing me up inside
I am not too worried that he is going to be a strong boy!

Hospital Tour

We are having a baby.... soon.
Tonight we got a tour of the hospital where we are planning on having our baby.
It was exciting and fun to see the rooms.... and I am starting to get scared.
James is already planning on where he is going to put the air mattress.
My husband is so clever.
We watched a newborn baby get his first T-shirt put on.
He was so small.
I am still so amazed that a little baby is growing in my belly.

Lucky 13

Today is our 4 year anniversary. We got married on Nov 13 2004, thus the lucky 13.
AAAHHH wedded bliss. I am happy to report that I love my husband deeply and I am so blessed every day to be in this marriage.
God really did know what he was doing :). I am the luckiest girl alive!!! and I never exaggerate.
This was taken last week at the wedding of one of my co-workers.
I can't believe we have been married for 4 years already! It feels like it has just flown by!
