We have no Jobs

and what do you do when you don't have jobs... you look for a job so you can live life. Life is so empty without things to do and people to see. We are on limited funds and really don't know anyone out here. Which is why we are babysitting for Carlos and Heather tonight. We had a wonderful night of dinner and Enchanted, right before the meltdowns began. Tomorrow is another day of job hunting. These darn nurse recruiters are not calling me back. Honestly though I am enjoying my time with Heather living life as a stay at home mom.... maybe someday.

What jobs are you & spouse seeking?

Perhaps when Carlos isn't faking giving up blogging, you could ask him to post the sort of jobs you're looking for. He knows people. ;)

Keep the faith! God has you on a wonderful adventure and He will provide for you. Praying for you both Alyssa....Mary 4800

Matthew 6:28-34 (New International Version)

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Alyssa, what a sad and honest blog you have, honey! I feel for you during this move....much like when we moved to Michigan in '92 - augh, the dread we felt....but God had His agenda and it turned out to be a wonderful 4 years (and one day, but who was counting, ha!) for our family to really become one....I know you and James will do the same. Make a life there and see it as an adventure. Know that you have people who are praying for you and are thinking about you, even when you feel out there alone. You know that God is there - cause He is omnipresent. I am so proud of you both for making this journey. I may be coming to Atlanta on business on or about May 6 pm and may be able to take you both for dinner....if you are available. Marrieta is a nice area too....God bless you, Lyssie....we love you
